Started in 2004 by local resident Dawn MacGibbon, the Hibiscus Festival is designed to bring our community together as we see how our history and the hibiscus are intertwined. Celebrate our town’s rich history and character, along with that of one of the world’s most famous hibiscus hybridizers, Henry R. Goulding. Listen to music under the stars, share a bite to eat, and enjoy the many vendors and independent growers from all over Florida. This event runs for 3 days at the beginning of May, and the $1 admission will be the best dollar you spend all year.
