National Boss’s Day may not be the most well-known holiday observance.  But considering that we spend nearly one-third of our waking hours in the workplace, it makes sense that this day is set aside to enhance the relationships between employers and their employees. Originally instituted in 1962, this day is recognized on October 16 not only in America, but in several other countries as well, such as India and South Africa.
