Sad Desktop No More!

April 25, 2018, is Administrative Professionals Day. It is held every year in conjunction with Administrative Professionals Week – a weeklong national observance that used to be known as National Secretaries Week. It was the brainchild of Mary Barrett, who at the time she came up with the idea for this observance, was the former president of the National Secretaries Association. That organization was founded during World War II as a way to support women who were working as receptionists and secretaries. Port Charlotte Florist is thrilled to be able to participate in a national observance that recognizes people with the gift of plants and flowers. In honor of Administrative Professionals Day, we’re showcasing two gifts that we think are ideally suited to any member of your administrative staff. These gifts are compact, so they’re perfect as desk accents.

Succulent Gardens are a beautiful gift for a plant novice or someone who might forget to water a plant. No desk will look sad anymore if it’s adorned with a collection of succulents of different sizes, textures, and shades of green.

Orchids are the ultimate statement piece. An elegant display of orchids will transform a drab office into a fabulous one. And orchids have that Zen-like quality that helps people focus.

Don’t overlook Administrative Professionals Day. It’s a chance to show your appreciation to the staff members that keep your business running. Port Charlotte Florist can help you choose other plant or flower gifts in honor of this occasion, too.
