For Nurses’ and Teachers’ Appreciation Week, Send Flowers

Throughout the first week of May, we celebrate the tireless dedication of a group of unsung professional heroes: nurses and teachers. Between May 6th and May 12th, we honor nurses. The week-long observance culminates with National Nurses’ Day on May 12th, the date on which Florence Nightingale was born. Between May 7th and May 11th, we honor teachers for all they do to help their students become the best people the can be. National Teacher Day is observed on May 8th. Port Charlotte Florist is ready to be your go-to source for floral gifts for the nurses and teachers who have had a positive impact on your life and the lives of those you love.

It seems fitting that the gift we’d choose to highlight gets its name from a famous nursery rhyme that dates back to the 19th century. Our version of A Tisket, A Tasket is a whimsical gift that captures the feel of the nursery rhyme so well that you’ll find yourself replaying the tune in your head over and over again. We’ve filled our white wicker basket with a handle with yellow, lavender, and white daisies. We add accents of curly willow and a green and white bow because there has to be a touch of green.

Let the talented team of creative floral designers here at Port Charlotte Florist help you honor the nurses and teachers who have done so much to make life better for so many people.
